Antelope Island State Park, Utah

After floating in the Lake I drove another 45 minutes north to Syracuse, UT to get to Antelope Island State Park. It is the largest island in the Salt Lake and has free ranging bison and antelope. I did a 7.5 mile hike there, White Rock Bay Loop. I came pretty close to the bison on the trail, it was very exciting, but it made me a little nervous!!

The Great Salt Lake!

Jeremiah and his Dad took a trip to Yosemite to do some climbing. I had to work so I stayed behind. I had a few days off while they were away so I went on a couple of solo adventures!!

The first day I had off I drove 4 hours North to Salt Lake where I camped all by myself for the 1st time ever!! at the Salt Lake KOA. The next morning I went to the Salt Lake Beach and floated in the Lake. I was very surprised at how ble the Lake is considerng that it is filled with massive amounts of Brine Shrimp. Here are the pictures...

July 31st, Delicate Arch, Arches National Park, UT

We have been in Utah for about two weeks now and have just finally made it to Arches National Park. Since it is so hot during the day and Miah and his Dad were climbing in the morning we waited until the evening to hike out to Delicate Arch. It was slightly cooler, but not much. Delicate Arch is CRAZY to say the least. I am definitely excited to hike through Arches some more and check out more of the Arches that are absoluely amazing!!
